Minutes of Golden Rule Review Committee (GRRC)
Meeting held 09/24/03, 4:30 p.m., Office of Student Conduct, SRC 154

In Attendance: Dr. Craig Ullom, Patricia MacKown, Dana Juntunen, Triscia Panarello, Cory Hloska, Jennifer White, Kevin Robbins, Bree Adamson, Marianne Howe, Wesley Hotchkiss, Willie Bentley, Tyler Van Voorhees, Jeff Streep, Joanne Muratori, Nizam Uddin, Isaac Brial, Matt DeVlieger, Alex Sigal, Patrick Rostock, Edna Rolle, Keri Nola

I. Introduction of the Golden Rule Review Committee and Purpose
Patricia MacKown welcomed everyone and reviewed the agenda. Committee members and other attendees signed in. Patricia explained the history and purpose of The Golden Rule review process and the GRRC committee. The committee is to review The Golden Rule on a yearly basis, so the work is on-going. It is designed so students may have input on the expectations they must abide by in the university community. The committee does not make any changes, only recommendations for changes to the policies in it. A list of which officers administer each section of The Golden Rule was provided.

II. New Process for GRRC
The updated GRRC section of The Golden Rule was handed out.

III. Discussion of meeting dates/times/locations for year
The committee will meet monthly for the rest of the academic year. The next meeting is on October 29, 2003 at 4:30pm in the Student Union Sand Key 220.

IV. Golden Rule sections to be covered during each meeting
The committee will begin covering the sections listed below at the next meeting. The advisors for the GRRC were asked to arrange the presence of any campus staff experts for upcoming topics (i.e., Physical Plant Director will be invited when signage is covered).
