Introduction of Committee and Purpose

The committee is to review The Golden Rule on a yearly
basis, so the work is ongoing
-
It is designed so students may have input on the
expectations they must abide by in the university community.

The committee does not make any changes – only recommendations
for changes to the policies in it. The Board of Trustees have final
approval and authority on The Golden Rule.
Review of Committee work from 2001-2002 and current
revisions of The Golden Rule and the process for revising it
The Golden Rule has proposed changes up for review
for the Board of Trustees from the work done last year. These changes
will go before a public hearing for any final last comments or opportunity
for changes, before the Board of Trustees reviews the changes and makes
the final decisions on what will be in the new student handbook.
Public Hearing for The Golden Rule is set for
Tuesday, October 8, 2002 , 2 p.m., Millican Hall, Rm. 360
Next meeting is October 30, 2002, 4:30 p.m.,
